Fiat CODE system failure
SAFETY
When the key is turned to MAR-ON the warning
light will flash only once and then go off. If, with the
ignition key at MAR-ON, the warning light stays
on constantly, this indicates a possible failure (see
STARTING AND
"Fiat CODE system" in the "Knowing your car"

The display will show the dedicated message.
