Action
Select one of the following options.
• Select Single Scan to have the
RFID module scan for as long
as the scan time value is set.
The module stops scanning
when it reads a tag or the time
elapses.
• Select Continuous Scan to
have the RFID module scan for
as long as the scan time value
is set. The module chains all
the tags together (including
prefixes and suffixes) sends the
data at the end of the scan.
• Set Scan Time to the determine
the amount of time the RFID
modules attempts to scan a
tag.
• Set Power Level to the amount
of power you want the module
to use. The higher the power
level is set, the more range you
will have. Use a lower power
setting when you don't need
as much range or the tags you
are reading are close to the
scanner.
Note: Worst Case Off Time is the
maximum amount of time that the
radio will remain off before it will
allow another scan if the power is set
higher than the regulatory threshold.
The Mesa 4 regulatory threshold is
the same as the maximum power of
the RFID module, so this number will
always be zero.
