Action
Customize the following settings.
• In Barcode scan time, set the
amount of time the barcode
module attempts to read a
barcode.
• Select when you would like the
module to beep.
Select one of the following.
• Select Use copy/paste buffer to
place barcode data (including
prefix/suffix data) in the
copy buffer, and then paste it
wherever you place the cursor.
• Select Use individual
keystrokes to send each
character (including prefix/
suffix data) as an individual
keystroke.
CAUTION: The copy/paste buffer
leaves the data in the copy buffer.
If you are scanning sensitive data,
select Use individual keystrokes.
Select Use virtual-key codes or Use
unicode characters to determine the
method used to send keyboard data
to the system.
Select P1, P2, or P3 as the barcode
scan button. When you press the
scan button, the module scans for
tags.
Select Enable picklist mode to allow
the barcode module to decode
barcodes aligned with the center of
the laser aiming pattern.
