    2.5.2 Power Input Jack Use the power input jack and the Mesa 4 AC wall charger to charge the Mesa 4 tablet. The input jack is a nominal 12 V, 2.5 A, 30 W input. The allowable voltage range is 10.8–21.25 V with minimum of 2.5 A.

    If you have the optional internal battery, you can hot swap the battery pack for another one while the tablet is running. Note: To use a Mesa 3 battery pack in a Mesa 4 tablet, the battery pack must be updated to firmware version 7A or later.
  • Page 24 CAUTION: Always completely power off the tablet before removing the battery. Failure to do so may cause loss of data or damage to the tablet. EXCEPTION: If the Mesa 4 has an optional internal battery, you can safely remove the battery while the tablet is running.

    In sleep mode, the tablet continues to draw a small amount of power. If you will not be using your Mesa 4 for more than a few days, power it off for storage.
