Description

2.1 General Description

The Parker Balston N2-200 Nitrogen Generator is a completely engineered system which will
convert a compressed air supply into a 96% to 99.5% purity compressed nitrogen gas. The
system is based on state-of-the-art membrane separation technology. Hollow fiber
membranes are used to separate air into a concentrated nitrogen output stream and an
oxygen enriched permeate stream. Figure 1 shows an overview of the system. Table 2 shows
the specifications for the Nitrogen Generator. Parker also offers an optional Oxygen Analyzer to
monitor the oxygen concentration in the nitrogen stream. Please contact your local Parker
office for more information.
The Parker Balston N2-200 Nitrogen Generator is certified to IEC, UL and CSA Standards.
The generator includes the CSA safety marking on the product label.
