d. Disconnect the lower hose (exposed by removing the lockdown knobs) using the open
end wrench, and remove the filter from the generator.
e. Install the new activated carbon filter by reversing the removal process. Tighten the
inlet and outlet fittings to 1-1/4 turns past finger tight.
f. Dispose of the spent carbon filter according to local regulations. The time required to
replace the activated carbon filter is approximately 30 minutes.
