Quick Setup Sheet
Step 1: Connect Speakers and Microphones
Pinouts: 15 pin D Connector
pin 1: speaker 1+
pin 2: speaker 2+
pin 3: speaker 3+
pin 4: speaker 4+
pin 5: no connection
pin 6: mic 1ground
pin 7: mic 1-
pin 8: mic 1+
Step 2: Connection
•
Connect the Premier phone to the RJ45 jack on the Satellite unit with the cable provided.
•
Connect the LINE OUT B of the Soundman to a mini telephone jack on the Satellite with the
cable provided.
•
Connect the LINE IN B of Soundman to the RCA jack on the Satellite with the cable provided.
•
Connect the TEL LINE on the Satellite to an analog phone line.
•
Connect POWER to the Soundman.
•
Connect POWER to the Satellite.
Step 3: Adjust the Send Level
•
With a screwdriver turn the Soundman MIC ADJUST to the 10 o'clock position. If needed, call a
CTG technician to fine-tune the system levels.
Step 4: Adjust the Receive Level
•
Set the SPEAKER VOLUME level on the Soundman to the 2 o'clock position.
•
To Mute Speaker on Premier - Turn ON Premier. Press the SHIFT key. Press the VOL+ 5 times.
•
Use Premier's wireless remote control or the VOLUME adjust on the phone to raise or lower the
incoming audio.
