    SKOPE B Series (R290) 2 Installation Positioning the Cabinet Climate Class The cabinet has been designed to operate safely in an environment up to climatic class 5 (40.0°C @ 40% relative humidity), and is also designed to achieve TCCC C-Pass performance within a 32.2°C @ 65% environment.

    SKOPE B Series (R290) Shelves The cabinet is fitted with wire shelves which may be positioned at different heights to suit various products, and one or two solid bottom shelves. Each solid bottom shelf is held in place by brackets attached to the floor of the cabinet. It is important that the bottom shelves are always in place as they direct the interior air circulation.
  • Page 14 SKOPE B Series (R290) Procedure 5: To reposition a lit shelf 1. Disconnect the cabinet from the mains power supply (see page 22). 2. Remove product from the shelf required to be moved, and from the shelf immediately above it.

    The cabinet is fitted with an AoFrio SCS Connect electronic controller. The controller located behind the front kick panel. The controller is pre-programmed. SKOPE does not recommend that settings be changed unless it is absolutely necessary. To ensure efficient operation, the controller automatically forces a defrost cycle when required.

    SKOPE B Series (R290) Service Mode Service mode can be accessed and used via the controller faceplate, or the SCS Connect Field app. Follow the steps below to access and use service mode via the controller buttons. Note: A 9 digit pin code is required to access service mode via the controller buttons. Contact your User Manager to receive your activation code.

Check that the Bluetooth logo on the top right of the controller faceplate is lit, indicating that the controller is ready to connect to a device. Note: A flashing Bluetooth logo indicates that the controller is currently connected to a device.

    SKOPE B Series (R290) 4 Replacement Procedures Electrical Safety Caution Disconnect the cabinet from the mains power supply before attempting any maintenance. Correct wiring routing is as important as using the correct components for compliance with safety and radio interference regulations.

  • Page 26 SKOPE B Series (R290) Procedure 17: To refit the door 1. Lift the door onto the bottom hinge pin, and align the pin on the top of the door with top hinge. Ensure the pin is fully inserted into the top hinge.

    SKOPE B Series (R290) Adjusting Door The door has an internal torsion bar, pre-tensioned at the factory, that lets the door self-close. Tension If the door has lost tension and does not self-close it may need re-tensioning. If the door cannot be re-tensioned the torsion bar may need replacing.

    The refrigeration cassette is a bottom-mounted, electronically controlled, removable cassette.     The fan blade, fan motor and mounting brackets can then be replaced. IMPORTANT Replace the motor with the same SKOPE OEM part. DO NOT use alternative parts. It is important that the fan blade and/or fan motor is replaced with the same part to ensure safety, and correct alignment and refrigeration performance.

    (complete with fan motor and fan blade) can be lifted off the evaporator tub once the refrigeration cassette cover has been removed. IMPORTANT Replace the motor with the same SKOPE OEM part. DO NOT use alternative parts. It is important that the fan blade and/or fan motor is replaced with the specified part to ensure safety, and correct alignment and refrigeration performance.

Remove the screw and washer from the centre of the fan blade, and lift the blade from the motor.

    SKOPE B Series (R290) Compressor The cassette is designed for use only with the specified compressor. If the compressor must be replaced, ensure that the SKOPE specified compressor is used as a replacement. Do not use other compressors within this refrigeration cassette. IMPORTANT Replace the compressor with the same SKOPE OEM part.

    SKOPE B Series (R290) 7 Maintenance Cleaning Cabinet Periodically wipe the inside and outside of the cabinet with a damp cloth, taking care to keep moisture away from electrical parts. As with any maintenance, ensure the cabinet is disconnected from the power supply before cleaning.
