Winding/Installing the Bobbin

Installing the bobbin

Install the bobbin wound with thread. You can begin
embroidering immediately without pulling up the bobbin
thread by simply inserting the bobbin in the bobbin case and
guiding the thread through the slit.
CAUTION
• Use a bobbin that has been correctly wound with thread,
otherwise there is a risk of poor thread tension or injury
due to the needle breaking.
• Before inserting or changing the bobbin, be sure that
you have held down the Accept button to lock all buttons
for needle moving. Otherwise, injuries may occur if the
"Start/Stop" button or any other button is pressed and
the machine starts.

The Accept button LED blinks and the "Start/Stop"
button LED lights steadily in orange. All buttons

20
When you wound the bobbin thread with this machine,
insert the bobbin with the same orientation as when it
was wound. The thread unwinds to the left.
5
Lightly hold down the bobbin, and then guide the
end of the thread around the tab.
a Tab
Be sure to hold down the bobbin with your finger and
unwind the bobbin thread correctly. Otherwise, the
thread may break or the thread tension will be incorrect.
6
While lightly holding down the bobbin, guide the
thread through the slit and lightly pull it.
By pulling the thread in this way, the thread will enter the
tension spring of the bobbin case to apply the
appropriate tension to the bobbin thread during
embroidering.
