motor loses power
Possible Cause
Throttle channel is reversed
Damaged impeller, shaft or motor
Impeller is out of balance
Debris inside jet pump
Boat battery charge is low
Boat battery is damaged
Blocking or friction on shaft or impeller
Boat conditions may be too cold
Battery capacity may be too low for conditions
Impeller not properly centered with wear ring
Too little lubricant on drive shaft
Vegetation or other obstacles block jet nozzle,
impeller, or intake grate
Transmitter is too near boat during binding process
Boat or transmitter is too close to large metal
object, wireless source or another transmitter
Another compatible transmitter is powered on
within range of receiver

Weather conditions might be too cold
Battery is old, worn out or damaged
Solution
Reverse throttle channel on transmitter
Replace damaged parts
Balance or replace propeller
Remove debris from jet pump
Completely recharge battery
Replace boat battery and follow battery instructions
Disassemble, lubricate and correctly align parts
Make sure battery is warm (above 10º C [50º F]) before use
Replace battery or use a larger capacity battery
Loosen drive shaft side of the motor coupling and move
drive shaft forward or back
Fully lubricate drive shaft
Remove vegetation or obstacles from jet nozzle, impeller,
or intake grate
Move powered transmitter a few feet from boat,
disconnect and reconnect battery to boat
Move the boat and transmitter to another location and
attempt binding again
Power off all compatible transmitters except the one you
are trying to bind
Replace/recharge batteries
Power on ESC switch
Move powered transmitter a few feet from boat,
disconnect and reconnect battery to boat
Move boat or transmitter to another location and attempt
to connect again
Replace/recharge batteries
Power on ESC switch
Dry out boat and ensure hatch is fully closed before
returning boat to water
Punch throttle to remove excess water from the boat, or
remove the boat from the water and drain the water from
