Model 802 Description / Operation
The Model 802 Master Station is a microprocessor-assisted communications control center. Each Master Station is a "stand
alone" unit, that can be used either singly or in multiples. A Master Station can connect to, access, and control a variety of
different communications systems, including RTS Systems:
"TW" intercom system

IFB System
2.
Station isolate system
3.
In addition, each Master Station functions as a multi-channel communications unit, used either:
•
as a unit along a multi-unit conference bus or
•
as a unit in multi-unit point-to-point matrix-style communications system or,
•
as a combination of the above two bullets.
The Master Station Block Diagram, Figure 1, "Model 802 Block Diagram," on page 6, shows the Master Station functional
components, input/output connections, and controls.
