affects the displayed bank on the VGA. This is the only time that the physical faders and VGA fader
banks move together.
The Cue layer, however, is always locked between the front surface and the VGA. Changing it on
either side affects both, and it is independent of the Main Display Mode setting (External or Internal).

LCD Automation chart.
This information was missing from the V1.0 manuals, so it is included here.
The LCD Automation screen/Channel page shows the macro groups available for controlling the
automation mode of groups of controls.

Reserved Project names.
The following project names are not available for use on the SX-1:

SX-1 Project
, meaning a name consisting of all spaces. This will actually work if chosen, but the name will
appear as NameFullOfIllegalCharacters in the UI. These project names have been reserved for
programming purposes, and will be ignored should an attempt be made to use them for creation,
renaming, or copying to another drive.
9.
All Input description clarification.
In the V1.0 reference manual, it was stated that the All Input control was a part of the Autopunch
functionality. It is not. All input is available on all tracks, regardless of their Autopunch, record, or
transport status.
10. GPL software used in the SX-1
The SX-1 uses 2 utility programs that are licensed for use under the GNU Public License (GPL). The
source code to these problems is included on the SX-1 DOCS CD.
11. Recovering Disk space after mixdown
In order to recover disk space after a mixdown operation, the user must do several steps.
