After a pass like this (where there is an extreme amount of gain), you will likely see an error log
message indicating that some clipping may have occurred:
It is not recommended that you press PLAY and listen to this until after you have chosen undo , to
return your audio to its previous state. Distortion is sure to ensue if you fail to undo your Level action.

17. Offline audio Edit Operations now support dB values

Some users found the sliders difficult to use on a number of Edit Ops, even while right-clicking (for
fine tuning). These Ops now support text entry of dB (decibel) values. The Ops and their possible
ranges are:
1. Gain/Fade — values from -100 dB to +40db.
2. Level FX — values from -20dB to +20dB.
3. Normalize — values from -20dB to 00 dB.

18. Audio events can now be muted via a key command

Selected audio events can be muted on the VGA Track screen by pressing Alt+Shift+M. This
functionality was previously available from either the Event Editor or the Mute Event edit op, but the
addition of a key command should help speed up usage.
