Description
The Model 4200-MTRX-X (CA-175-X) Triaxial Cable connects the installed source-measurement unit (SMU) in
the Model 4200A-SCS to the device under test (DUT).
The 4200-MTRX-X, shown in the following figure, consists of a standard triaxial cable terminated with a miniature
triaxial plug on one end and a standard 3-slot triaxial plug on the other end.
The item shipped may vary from the item in the picture.
The miniature triaxial plug connects to the FORCE connector on the SMU installed in the 4200A-SCS. The
standard triaxial plug connects to the test fixture or probe station that holds the DUT.
The 4200-MTRX Triaxial Cable is intended for connection only to an SMU that does not have a
preamplifier installed. Never make connections to any miniature triaxial connector on an SMU
if a preamplifier is installed. Failure to observe this precaution can result in damage to the SMU
and the DUT and cause corrupt data.
