Description

The Model 236-ILC-3 (part number 236-326A) is a 3-pin female to 3-pin female interlock cable assembly for the
Model 4200A-SCS. The cable is 3 m (9.8 ft).
The item shipped may vary from the item in the picture.
The 236-ILC-3 cable connects the safety interlock circuit of the 4200A-SCS to the safety interlock switch of the
test fixture containing the device under test. To use the 236-ILC-3, plug one end of the cable into the INTERLOCK
connector on the test fixture, and connect the other end of the cable into the INTERLOCK connector on the rear
panel of the instrument.
Detailed information on using the interlock cable can be found in the 4200A-SCS Learning Center.
Connecting the interlock cable to protective earth (safety ground) may result in damage to the
interlock circuit. A self-resetting fuse is provided in the interlock power supply to protect the
circuit from damage if the cable is shorted to protective earth (safety ground). If the current
limit from the interlock circuit is exceeded, the fuse will open and may not reset for
several minutes.
