ADDENDUM
TO INSTRUCTION MANUAL
This addendum supplements instructions found in instruction manual X986-03-01 for the Roughneck V900 Series
of Impact-Resistant Cameras. It pertains exclusively to Model V900VF-DN-C (product code 8318-03).
This addendum lists exceptions to instructions manual X986-03-01 for correct installation of the V900VF-DN-C
•
The base and cover of the V900VF-DN-C are constructed of permanent mold cast aluminum. The unit
has a heater but does not contain a mask (page 1-2).
•
The camera/lens is one unit and the camera includes an isolated power supply (page 6).
•
The camera mounting bracket is attached to the pan bracket in the base. To adjust tilt, loosen the nut on
the side of the pan bracket and move to desired position (page 2-3).
•
The unit is delivered with a cable assembly connected to the interface PC board and the camera board
(pages 4-6).
•
There is a potentiometer (VR1 on the back board of the camera) for phase adjustment for line lock
(page 7).
•
There is a potentiometer (VR1 on the front board of the camera) for ALC adjustment (page 8).
•
There is a DIP switch on the front camera board that allows the selection of: Switch 1 - ALC (OFF) or
ELC (ON); Switch 2 – Internal (Crystal) Synchronization (OFF) or Line Lock (ON); Switch 3 – AGC (ON or
OFF); Switch 4 – BLC (ON or OFF) (page 8).

Input Voltage: 24 VAC ±20%, isolated.
Power Consumption: 21.6 W.
Current Rating: 0.9 A.
Heat Equivalent: 1.23 btu/min (0.31 kg-cal/min).
Construction: permanent mold cast aluminum.
