SYMBOLS
The following symbols are used in the
instructions and/or on the product.
WARNING! Risk of falling.
Read the instructions.
Do not exceed the maximum
load.
Make sure that the ladder is at
the correct angle (65–75°).
Max number of persons on
the stepladder.
Do not use the ladder on a
surface that is uneven or has
poor bearing strength.
Do not overreach. Stand with
both feet on the same rung.
Do not lean sideways more
than your navel is between the
side rails.
Do not put the ladder on a
fouled surface.
Ladders used to access a higher
level must extend at least 1
metre past the stepping off
point and be anchored, if
necessary. Stepladders/folding
ladders used to access a higher
level must be anchored to
prevent them sliding sideways.
Do not use the stepladder as a
footbridge.

Pay attention to overhead
power lines when moving the
ladder – risk of electric shock.
Always face the ladder when
ascending/descending.
Do not lean the ladder against
an ill-advised surface.
Never use the ladder without
the stablising bracket in place.
The ladder is intended for
professional use.
Check the stepladder before
use.
Turn the stepladder the right
way round. Note marking.
Keep a firm grip on the ladder
when climbing. Always keep
a firm grip with at least one
hand when working on the
ladder. Take suitable safety
precautions if this is not
possible.
Do not stand on the top three
steps of a lean-to ladder.
Do not carry heavy items up
the stepladder.
