Description
Accessory Kit 031-4002 contains one Kwik Klip
Restraint System designed to secure a patient on the
Model 59 or Model 59-T EZ Glide Evacuation Chair.
Continuous left and right straps attach to the top of the
chair's back frame, crisscross the patient's chest, anchor
to a connector strap at each side of the chair seat, then
buckle across the patient's lap (see Components, below).
Buckles are color coded.
Important
The Kwik Klip™ is a secondary restraint and is
not designed for use on cots or in any other
situation requiring primary restraints.

Before Placing the Restraints
In Service
1. Personnel who will work with the restraints need to
read this manual and practice using the restraints.
2. Confirm that restraints operate properly. Follow
instructions in Inspecting the Restraints, page 4.
Improper operation of the restraints can
cause injury. Operate the restraints only as
described in this manual.
