Using the AC-22LX Editor/EV-1-WL, FS-1-WL Connection Guide
This guide shows how to use the AC-22LX Editor.

Preparing to Use the AC-22LX Editor
Installing the USB Driver
Before you use AC-22LX Editor, the appropriate USB driver for the product
you're using must be installed on your computer.
1.
From the product support page, download the AC Driver.
To obtain the latest USB driver, access the following URL, and
download and install the appropriate driver for the product you're
using.
https://www.boss.info/support/
2.
Double-click the downloaded AC driver.
Installation begins.
Follow the onscreen instructions to install.
When the screen indicates "Installation has been completed. " , click
the [Close] button.
The AC Driver has been installed on your computer.
Installing the AC-22LX Editor
MEMO
Before you install the AC-22LX Editor, you must follow the steps described
in "Installing the USB Driver" (p. 1) to install the USB driver on your
computer.
Windows users
1.
Unpack the ZIP file.
2.
Double-click "AC-22LX Editor Installer.exe".
Installation begins.
3.
Follow the onscreen instructions to install.
4.
When you see the message "Completing the AC-22LX
Editor Setup Wizard", click the [Finish] button.
Mac users
1.
Unpack the ZIP file.
2.
Double-click "AC-22LX Editor Installer.pkg".
Installation begins.
3.
Follow the onscreen instructions to install.
4.
When the screen indicates "The installation was successful.
The software was installed", click the [Close] button.

Launching the AC-22LX Editor
1.
Use a USB cable to connect the AC-22LX to your computer,
and then turn on the power of the AC-22LX.
MEMO
You can still edit livesets even when the AC-22LX is not connected to
a computer via USB cable.
However, you can't save the resulting patches you edit. To save this
data, the unit must be connected to your computer.
To use the Editor, you must set the USB driver used by this unit to the
dedicated USB driver. For details, refer to "Owner's Manual".

From the [Start] menu, select [All Programs]

The first time you launch the software, the dialog box "Choose a
device to connect with" appears.
MEMO
On the second and subsequent startups, the device is selected
automatically.
macOS users
From the Finder, in the application/BOSS/AC-22LX folder, double-
click [AC-22LX Editor (.app)].
3.
Choose "AC", and click the [OK] button.
Launch the AC-22LX Editor.
MEMO
It may take some time before you can use the AC-22LX Editor, as data
needs to be loaded from the AC-22LX.
