5-10 Onboard Indicators

GLAN LEDs

The Gb Ethernet LAN port (located
beside the COM2 port) has two
LEDs.
The yellow LED indicates
activity while the other LED may be
green, orange or off to indicate
the speed of the connection. See
the table at right for the functions
associated with the second LED.

Overheat LEDs

Four LEDs to indicate overheat
conditions are located on the
X5DA8/X5DAE. These are located
right behind the parallel port.
These are based on Intel pre-
defined temperature thresholds.
"Hot" is a warning that the tem-
perature is getting too high.
"Therm" when lit indicates that
power for the corresponding CPU
has been shut down.

SCSI Channel Activity LEDs

Two LEDs that indicate SCSI activ-
ity are located near the SCSI con-
