Unit is plugged in, but nothing
works.

temperatures inside cabinet.
Unit is heating, but is not
producing
humidity
inside
cabinet. Low water light is OFF
and unit is full of water.
Unit is heating, but is not
producing
humidity
inside
cabinet. Low water light is ON,
but unit is full of water.

Probable Cause
Unit not turned on.
No power to unit.
Tripped circuit breaker.
Power cord is damaged.
Defective POWER ON/OFF (I/O) switch.
Blower motor defective.
Incorrect voltage supplied to blower motor.
Incorrect voltage supplied to heating element.
Blower motor not working.
air heating element(s) defective.
air thermostat control is defective.
air down tube is not connected/removed.
Water heating element is defective.
Humidity thermostat control is set too low.
Humidity thermostat control defective.
Water level sensor defective.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

ELECTRIC SHOCK HAzARD: Turn OFF power switch,
unplug power cord, and allow unit to cool before
performing any cleaning, adjustments, or maintenance.
move POWER ON/OFF (I/O) switch to the ON (I) position.
Check electrical receptacle and verify that power supply
matches specifications on unit. If receptacle is not working,
check circuit breaker and reset, or plug unit into a different
known working receptacle.
Check circuit breaker and reset, if tripped.
