The lithium-ion battery is required to store no more than 50%
of its capacity when it leaves the factory.
Before attempting to use the electric start function, start the
engine manually by following instructions in 7.1 and allow
the generator to run continuously for more than 2 hours to
complete the charging, otherwise the service life of the
battery will be shortened.
If starting the generator with remote-control continues to fail
after 3 attempts, press the "OFF" button of the control fob to
prevent repeated starting and switch to manual starting. To
prevent damage to the starter motor and battery, perform
trouble shooting before attempting to start remotely.
If the generator is not being used for longer periods than 48
hours, please turn off the start switch to avoid affecting the
battery life or causing abnormal starting and turn off the fuel
to prevent leakage.
If the electric start is being used to start the generator on a
regular basis, the following information will help protect the
starter motor and prolong the battery life:
1. Theoretically, the battery power should be kept above
60%, which is more helpful to prolong the service life of the
battery.
2. When starting the generator, please be careful not to start
the generator several times in a short time to avoid damage
to the battery or circuit. If the generator does not start after
5 consecutive attempts, please inspect and maintain it or
