When Enabled, the SATA AHCI controller manages the power usage of the
SATA link. The controller will put the link in a low power mode during extended
periods of I/O inactivity, and will return the link to an active state when I/O
activity resumes. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Port 0~5 Hot Plug
Select Enabled to enable hot-plug support for a particular port, which will allow
the user to change a hardware component or device without shutting down
the system. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Staggered Spin Up
Select Enabled to enable Staggered Spin-up support to prevent excessive
power consumption caused by multiple HDDs spinning-up simultaneously.
The options are Enabled and Disabled.
RAID Mode
The following items are displayed when RAID Mode is selected:
SATA RAID Option ROM/UEFI Driver
Use this feature to enable the onboard SATA Option ROM or EFI driver. The
options are Enabled and Disabled.
Port 0~5 Hot Plug
Select Enabled to enable hot-plug support for the particular port. The options
are Disabled and Enabled.
 PCIe/PCI/PnP Confi guration
Launch Storage Add-on Card OpROM Priority
Use this feature to select the Option ROM to boot the system when there are multiple
Option ROMs available in the system. The options are UEFI only and Legacy only.
PCI Latency Timer
Use this feature to set the latency Timer of each PCI device installed on a PCI bus.
Select 64 to set the PCI latency to 64 PCI clock cycles. The options are 32, 64, 96,
128, 160, 192, 224 and 248.
PERR# Generation
Select Enabled to allow a PCI device to generate a PERR number for a PCI Bus
Signal Error Event. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
