Problem
With the support of NetLink2.0 on the Inter-Tel IP Protocol, there is a requirement to upgrade the
SVP software. After upgrading the SVP, there is a configuration change that must be made in the
SVP server in order for it to operate properly.
Description
Upgrading the Wireless Telephones to version 100.013 or greater will now give you all the
NetLink2.0 features and functions. For the Wireless Telephones to operate at that version, the SVP
server must be updated to version 17x.012 or greater.
There is a configuration change in the SVP server that must now be completed in order for the
system to run. This configuration was not required pre-NetLink2.0. Under the SVP-II
Configuration menu, you will now see 2 new line items labeled "First Alias IP Address" and "Last
Alias IP Address". You now need to enter in a value for both of these items for the system to run
properly.
