Introduction Caution: The stability kit is not proven to withstand natural disasters. The stability kit only allows a Spectra 64K library to be fixed to a data center floor. 1. Both the front and rear kick plates snap in and out of place; no tools are required to remove them. Locate the front kick plate and pull it off (Figure 2). Figure 2 Remove the front kick plate. Page 10: Remove The Side Panels
1. Remove the library hood by lifting upward on the front of the library. No tools are required to remove the hood (Figure 6). Figure 6 Remove the library hood. Use a #3 Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws that attach the sides to the library chassis (Figure 7). Figure 7 Remove four screws attaching the side panels to the library chassis. 3. After the screws have been removed, the side panels are still snapped into place. Pull off each side panel and set it aside for later replacement.
