2.1.3 MAiNTENANCE
- Only carry out maintenance which is described in the user manual.
See chapter 5 "Maintenance".
- An authorised technician must carry out maintenance and repairs which are not
described in the manual.
- In order to keep your li t safe and reliable, it is recommended to have it serviced
annually by an authorised technician.
- Do not disassemble or repair the stairli t yourself. Have stairli t parts repaired and
replaced by an authorised technician.
- Do not modify the stairli t in any way.
- Do not remove stickers, labels, data plates and warning plates from the stairli t.
- If you think that the stairli t has a defect which can cause injury or death, do not
use the stairli t and immediately contact your supplier (see chapter 9).
- For North America: Do regular tests and inspections according to "ASME A18.1 -
2005: Safety Standard for Platform Li ts and Stairway Chairli ts".
