BHT-M70 Series
3 Basic Operation
This chapter describes the basic skills to work with BHT-M70 handy terminal, for instance how to
operate the home screen, check of system statuses and management notifications.
The add-on utilities for applications regarding data reading, processing and transmission are
introduced in the following chapters.
3.1 Reading Barcodes
Read barcodes as described below.
1.
Press the power button to power on BHT.
2.
Start up the code reading application.
3.
Point the reading windows towards the barcode to read and press one of the side triggers.
Light for reading is irradiated and the printed barcode is read.
The light for reading goes off when the data are decoded or the decode time has elapsed.
