Cancelling the timer
1 - Press the selection button for the hotplate (1 or
2) for which you wish to cancel the timer.
2 - Press the timer button, the indicator flashes.
3 - Press the "-" button to set the timer to "00": the
timer is cancelled.

Cooking tips
DANGER: Please pay attention when heating oil and fat very quickly. At very high
temperatures, oil and fat can ignite spontaneously; this represents a serious fire hazard
- Using a lid reduces cooking time and saves energy because no heat escapes.
- Use only the necessary amount of oil or fat to reduce cooking time.
- Start cooking by setting a high temperature, reduce the temperature when the food reaches the
desired cooking level.
Heat setting Purpose
0 off, use of residual heat
1 - 2 melt, reheat, maintain heat
3 - 4 slow cooking, defrosting and reheating
5 - 6 stewing, gentle cooking and toasting small quantities
7 - 8 cooking and browning of large quantities
9 frying, cooking until boiling
