CAUTION: Make sure to use the correct cable for connection to the power supply.
Make sure that the appliance is installed correctly. If unsuitable power cords or exposed
power plugs are used, the connection may overheat.
Make sure the power cord is not loose or tangled.
Make sure that a guard is installed that prevents direct contact with the cables.
Do not use multiple sockets or extension cables.
If the power outlet is loose, do not connect the power plug of your appliance.
Do not pull the power cord when you want to disconnect the unit from the power supply.
Always unplug.
Do not damage the power plug (if present) and the power cord. Contact our authorised
customer service or a specialised technician to replace the damaged power cord.
CAUTION: Do not insert the plug into the wall socket before installation has been
completed. Make sure that the plug of the appliance is still accessible after installation.
CAUTION: Use only suitable power cut-off devices: Overload switches, fuses (screw
fuses must be removable from the holder), residual current switches and contactors.
CAUTION: The electrical system must have a disconnecting device through which it
must be possible to disconnect the appliance from the power supply on all poles. The
disconnecting device must be designed with contacts with a cross section of at least 3
mm.
CAUTION: When connecting the appliance electrically, make sure that the cable and plug
do not come into contact with the hot appliance or hot cookware.
CAUTION: All parts protecting against direct contact and insulated parts must be fastened
in such a way that they cannot be removed without tools.
CAUTION: Ventilation openings must not be covered or obstructed.
CAUTION: Before making any connections, make sure that the mains voltage corresponds
to the voltage shown on the specific label located inside the appliance.
CAUTION: If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
technical assistance service, or in any case by a qualified person in order to prevent any
risk.
CAUTION: Keep children under 8 years of age away from the unit. Children must be
supervised to ensure that they do not misuse the appliance.
CAUTION: Cleaning and maintenance must not be done by children without supervision.
