CNG SYSTEM LAYOUT

1. CNG cylinder: It is mounted below driver's seat. It
can be filled with up to 4.5 /5 kg of CNG.
2. 1st stage reduction unit: It reduces the cylinder
pressure of 200 BAR to 3-4 BAR
3. Cylinder Valve: It controls the supply of (ON-
OFF) CNG gas
4. Pressure gauge: It shows the pressure of gas
inside cylinder and gives input to CNG level
indicator on dash board.
5. Petrol Solenoid valve: This valve is opened when
the ignition switch is in ON position and fuel
changeover switch in 'P' position.
6. Flexible hose assy-1: It used to connect the outlet
of 1st stage reduction unit to inlet of gas solenoid
valve.
7. Flexible hose assy-2: It used to connect the outlet
of gas solenoid valve to inlet of two stage
regulator.
8. Gas solenoid valve: It act as a shut - off valve, it
opens only when we select gas mode.
9. Two stage regulator: Reduces the pressure of
CNG to atmospheric pressure.
10. Low pressure hose: Supplies CNG from reducer
to mixer unut
11. Mixer assembly: Supplies gas air mixture to engine
in required proportion.
