SAFETY TIPS IN CNG
Do not switch over to CNG mode while the vehicle is
l
running in petrol mode.
Do not open the pressure regulator and other CNG
l
components at your own.
In case of leakage, close the cylinder valve immediately,
l
also switch off the ignition.
During the leak test in the CNG system the line pressure
l
should be 100 to 200 bar.
Don't try to fill CNG cylinder beyond 200 bar pressure.
l
Don't replace temperature & pressure relief device on
l
the CNG cylinder valve by dummy disc in case of
failure. Use genuine spares only.
Always ensure that the venting connections are tight
l
and the gas vents out to the atmosphere in case of
leakage.
Test your cylinder for strength as per safety requirements
l
every five years from the date of previous testing by
CCOE-approved agency.

OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE
Don't carry out any welding & fabrication work near the
l
CNG cylinder.
Always work in good Ventilated workshop area.
l
Don't take any flammable material near gas
l
components.
Never discharge CNG in public places or in prohibited
l
and closed areas.
Use the correct rated fuse in the electrical unit.
l
Don't fix the Electronic control unit where water ingress
l
is possible.
Use genuine original spares and avoid duplicates.
l
Always keep the earthing of the wiring harness intact at
l
all the times.
Avoid short-circuiting of electrical connections.
