Connecting the C-733 —Continued
Before Making any Connections
• Always refer to the instructions that came with the
component that you are connecting.
• Do not plug in the power cord until all connec-
tions have been properly made.
• Do not bind audio cables with power cords and
speaker cables. Doing so may adversely affect the
sound quality.
Optical Digital Jacks
The optical digital jacks are fitted with protective
caps. Before connecting a cable, remove the cap and
keep it safely. When you disconnect the cable, put
the cap back in.
Connecting an Amplifier with an
Analog Input
Use the supplied analog audio cable to connect the
C-733's ANALOG OUT L/R jacks to the analog input
jacks on the amplifier, as shown.

Connecting an Amplifier or Recorder
with an Optical Digital Input
If your amplifier or recorder has an optical digital audio
input, you can enjoy digital playback or recording.
Use an optical digital audio cable to connect one of the
C-733's OPTICAL DIGITAL OUT jacks to an optical
digital input jack on the amplifier or recorder, as shown.
