Note: If an R-805TX has been connected to the system and the R-805TX’s energy save function has been enabled, pressing the STANDBY/ON button of the C-705TX will not turn on the power to the C-705TX. You need to press the STANDBY/ON button on the R-805TX. (Refer to the instruction manual for the R-805TX for more information.) -

• Bundling an audio connection cable with the power cord or speaker cord may degrade the sound quality. • To use the unit with the other Onkyo Separate Collection series components, follow the connection diagram in the A-905TX/R-805TX instruction manual to connect the unit to the system. - Page 11 Amplifier without digital input terminal Connection with the Amplifier Connect the ANALOG OUTPUT connectors on the rear panel of C-705TX and the amplifier’s CD input connectors using the audio connection cable. DUAL OPTICAL OUTPUT STANDBY/ ON STANDBY DISPLAY Normal play • When you are using the C-705TX with the A- 905TX/R-805TX Onkyo Separate Collection se- ries component, turn the A-905TX’s/R-805TX’s POWER switch ON. Press STANDBY/ON button to turn on the unit. -

Using the remote controller With the RC-456S remote controller (supplied with the A-905TX/R-805TX), you can select the track to play using the number buttons. In either case, selecting a track automatically starts play of that track. -

Playing tracks in random order (Random play) Press the RANDOM button to enter Random play mode. The CD player plays the tracks in a random order. • Random play will be canceled when the RAN- DOM, or when all tracks on disc have been played. -

Memory play • Up to 25 tracks can be stored in memory. Press the MEMORY button to enter Memory play mode. MEMORY MEMORY Press the number button(s) to se- lect your desired track. To enter further track numbers into memory, repeat this step. - Page 18 Playing CDs To quit Memory play Press the MEMORY or The MEMORY indicator disappears to indicate that you are in Normal play mode. The contents of the memory are completely cleared. MEMORY Playing all tracks on disc (Repeat play) Press the REPEAT button to enter Repeat play mode.
