Basic functions of the PA 2500 R

The PA 2500 R can be switched on and off using the  button on the front

When the machine is initially switched on, a certain amount of time elapses
before all the amplifier stages reach their optimum working point. During this
period the - and - button flash (power-on delay). As soon as the

status, i.e. their status when the amplifier was last switched off.
You can choose your preferred listening source using the source select buttons
( ... ) on the machines front panel or with the  button on
the SRC1 handset. The set source is displayed on the screen. To select the
source IN 6 or IN 7 directly on the device, press the  button on the front

The PA 2500 R features an extremely accurate volume control calibrated to
produce exact channel-matching. The precision audiophile resistors are
switched using gold-contact relays; these components are totally devoid of
distortion and noise, and guarantee absolute maximum resolution and detail
fidelity, even at low listening levels.
The volume level of the PA 2500 R can be adjusted in fine increments (1 dB
steps) by turning the volume knob (
Volume can also be controlled from the remote control handset using the
-  + buttons: each brief press on a volume button increases or reduces
the volume by one increment. Holding either volume button pressed in alters the
volume continuously.
