4.4 Troubleshooting

Flex arm cannot be fixed.

Fault
Flex arm moves extra hard
Flex arm falls down
Flex arm moves very difficult
Motion of the hood cannot be
controlled
Suction hose is ruptured

intervene in the system without the written permission of the authorized service.
Fault
Unit does not suck

• Nuts of the hinge plates are extra
Reason of the fault
tightened
• It is out of adjustment
• Arm settings are decalibrated
• Control the nut on the hinge
• Replace the hose
• Valve of the hood is closed
• Rubbers at the joint are slipped
• There is a contraction in the
suction pipe
Reason
• Fresh air output is closed
• Filter has reached the saturation
point
• Suction hose or suction arm is
not properly connected
• Motor is rotating in reverse
direction
• Fresh ait output became
contract ed

Actions to be taken
• Slightly loosen the fiber nut
• Adjust the screw adjustment
locations on the fallen joint so
that the arm will be on its
previous position
• Adjustment screws are over
tightened
• Tighten the nut
• Do not operate with a faulty
hose. Suction performance will
decrease
• Open the valve
• Adjust the rubbers in order to
obtain a sealing
• Check the suction arms, pipes,
joints and hoses
• Control the fresh air flow, if

required, repair the problem
• Replace the filter. Apply the
changes and the destruction
process according to regulations
• Make sure that the suction
hose or suction arm is properly
secured
• Control the return direction
