2. SAFETY NOTICE

2.1 BEFORE DRIVING

The user must be familiar with the use and operation of this scooter before driving. Always
observe the following safety precautions.
The same traffic rules apply to the use of this scooter as apply to pedestrians.
For the users safety, please follow the rules that apply to pedestrians.
Drive only on pavements, single carriage roads and pedestrian areas. Never drive on
motorways or dual carriageways.
Do not drive a scooter after consuming alcohol or when tired.
Be careful when driving the scooter in the dark. (This scooter has not been designed for
night use)
Please observe local laws and regulations regarding speed limits of these vehicles and
ensure that you do not exceed these limits
Practice operating the scooter.
Familiarize yourself with the operation of the scooter before using it in heavy traffic or
dangerous areas. Practice in a wide open area such as a park. To avoid accidents when
driving the scooter, pay attention to your driving actions such as accelerating, stopping,
turning, reversing and going up or down ramps.
Set the scooter speed to "3" when practicing for the first time.
For safety reasons, we recommend the user is accompanied by someone when driving
on the road for the first time.
The user should only use the high speed setting when they feel confident enough to
manoeuvre and control the scooter.
The scooter is only to be used by one person at a time.
Do not carry passengers on the scooter.
For maximum carry weight, please refer to "MAX USER WEIGHT" in "7. SPECIFICATION"
The scooter is designed to support those with limited mobility to get around both indoors
and outdoors.
