2. SAFETY NOTICE

MANDATORY! Do not operate your new scooter for the first time without
fully reading and understanding this Owner's Manual and Consumer
Safety Guide.
The scooter is a state-of-the-art life-enhancing device designed to enhance your
mobility. We offer a wide range of products that best suit the individual needs of
scooter users. Please note that the final selection and purchasing decision regarding
the type of scooter to be used is the responsibility of the scooter user and their medical
professionals (doctors, physical therapists, etc.) who can make such decisions.
The content of this manual is based on the expectation that a mobility professional
has properly fitted the scooter to the user and has assisted the prescribing healthcare
professional and/or the authorized Provider in the instruction process for the use of
the product.
In certain circumstances, including some medical conditions, scooter users should
practice operating the scooter in the presence of a trained attendant. A trained
attendant can be defined as a family member or caregiver who has been specially
trained to assist the scooter user in various daily living activities.
When using the scooter in daily activities, the user may encounter situations that
require practice. After time, the user will become more confident and be able to
navigate doorways, move in and out of elevators, and up and down ramps with ease.
Additional general information can be found on the Supplemental Information Sheet
and Brochure included in the Owner's Pack. Please read and review the information
carefully and retain it for future reference.
Below are some notes, tips, and other safety considerations to help the user become
familiar with operating the scooter safely.
PRE-RIDE SAFETY CHECK
Get to know the scooter and its capabilities. We recommend performing a safety check
before each use to ensure the scooter runs smoothly and safely.
