Stability hazard. The rack stabilizing mechanism must be in place, or the
rack must be bolted to the fl oor before you slide the unit out for servicing.
Failure to stabilize the rack can cause the rack to tip over.
Note: The fi gure at left is for illustration purposes only. Always install servers to the
bottom of the rack fi rst.

Checking the Serverboard Setup

After you install the 2027TR-HTRF+/H70RF+/H71RF+/H72RF+ server in the rack,
you will need to open the unit to make sure the serverboard is properly installed
and all the connections have been made.
Before operating the SC217 chassis for the fi rst time, it is important to remove the
protective fi lm covering the top of the chassis, in order to allow for proper ventilation
and cooling.
Removing the Chassis Cover and Protective Film (Figure 2-7)
1. Uplug the AC power cord from any external power source.
2. Remove the two screws which secure the top cover onto the chassis as
shown above.
3. Lift the top cover up and off the chassis.
4. Peel off the protective fi lm covering the top cover and the top of the chassis
