WARNING
Explosion hazard
To reduce the risk of igniting combustible or potentially explosive atmospheres,
take note of the following.
► Do not charge the battery in explosion-hazard areas.
► Only use battery chargers which Dräger has approved for this product.
NOTICE
If the charging cradle comes into contact with water, there is a risk of a short
circuit.
► Make sure that the thermal imaging camera and the charging cradle are dry.
● Place the thermal imaging camera in the charging cradle.
For the meaning of the LEDs, see chap. 3.3
6.2
Cleaning the thermal imaging camera
The window of the IR camera consists of scratch-resistant material.
Nevertheless, take care when cleaning this optical surface.
NOTICE
The housing could be damaged if solvents or thinners are used for cleaning.
► Do not use any solvents or thinners!
NOTICE
The thermal imaging camera is not approved for machine cleaning, nor should it
be cleaned in an immersion bath.
► Only clean the thermal imaging camera as described!
1. Wipe the thermal imaging camera with a damp, lint-free cloth. If necessary,
clean with warm, soapy water.
2. Dry the thermal imaging camera with a soft, lint-free cloth, and leave to dry
completely.
