b. Hold the pairing symbol on the thermal imaging camera directly at the
point on the full face mask at which the pairing symbol on the In-Mask
Display is located. The LED on the thermal imaging camera flashes blue.
An icon indicating the status of the pairing process is displayed on the In-
Mask Display.
Once the thermal imaging camera and the In-Mask Display are paired,
the LED lights blue for 5 seconds and the thermal image is displayed on
the In-Mask Display.
4. Mounting the thermal imaging camera on the helmet:
Press the two buttons and plug the thermal imaging camera into the helmet
adapter. Make sure that the thermal imaging camera is correctly engaged in
the helmet adapter.
5. If necessary, use a soft cloth to wipe any condensed moisture from the
window of the IR camera.
4.4 During use
4.4.1 General
The image quality may be impaired, the thermal image may be lost, or the
internal components may be damaged if the thermal imaging camera is
repeatedly exposed for extended periods to ambient temperatures exceeding
60 °C without allowing it time to cool down. Sufficient cooling-down time must be
provided between usage cycles in environments with high temperatures.
4.4.2 Panning the thermal imaging camera
● Press the two buttons and pan the thermal imaging camera in the helmet
adapter. Make sure that the thermal imaging camera is correctly engaged in
the helmet adapter after panning.

After use
1. Switch off the thermal imaging camera. To do this, press the On/Off button
for approx. 3 seconds, until LED 1 goes out.
2. Clean the thermal imaging camera as required.
3. Check whether the thermal imaging camera is damaged. If any damage is
detected, send the thermal imaging camera to Dräger for repair.
4. Charge the thermal imaging camera.
Dräger recommends keeping the thermal imaging camera in the charging
cradle so that the rechargeable battery will be regularly recharged.
