Mounting and Installation
Mounting the Isolated Barriers and Termination Boards to Ensure Flame
Resistance
Parts of the isolated barriers and termination boards contain materials that fall under
flammability class V-2 in accordance with UL 94. This flammability class is not sufficient
for offshore applications. A sufficient flammability class can be achieved by following
the instructions below.

Mount the isolated barriers and termination boards in a switch cabinet or housing that meets
the requirements of flammability class V-1 in accordance with UL 94 as a minimum.

the flammability requirements of IACS Unified Requirements E10.
