6.5 Method of adjusting PEH motor brake gap <PEH050-1/PEH100-2>
1 When the brake function affects the operation of hoist
2 Brake lining motion causes abnormal noise
3 Brake gap is over 0.7mm.
※Note：To prevent risks , the hoist must be in unload and power-off during the
adjustment
A. Hex Wrench
B. Open-end wrench
C. Thickness gauge
Method of adjusting
1. Use hex wrench to loosen ○ 1 set screw
2. Use Open-end wrench to turn the Hex
Head of ○ 2 distance ring and adjust the
height of ○ 2 distance ring.
3. Once adjusted ○ 2 distance ring, need to
tighten the set screw before measuring
the gap.
