IN ORDER TO REMOVE THE FOLLOWING COMPO-
NENTS, THE ENTIRE OVEN WILL HAVE TO BE
REMOVED FROM ITS INSTALLATION.
TO AVOID ELECTRICAL SHOCK, POWER TO THE
UNIT MUST BE DISCONNECTED BEFORE
ATTEMPTING THE FOLLOWING REPAIRS.
Rear Panel Removal
In order to remove convection and broil elements, the
lower cooling fan assembly and lower oven electrical
components, the rear panel must be removed.
To remove the rear panel, extract screws around the
outside edges of panel and the screws that secure the
back panel to dividing channels and framework of the
unit. (See Figure 4-25)
Convection Fan Assembly Removal
The convection fan assembly is located behind the con-
vection baffle assembly and is secured with screws to
the back of the oven cavity.
To remove the convection fan assembly, first remove
the oven racks, rack guides, convection baffle plate and

rear panel:

1. From back of unit, disconnect electrical leads from
fan motor terminals and convection element.
Clear away insulation to allow the terminals of ele-
ment to pass through into the oven cavity.
(See Figure 4-26)
2. Extract screws around convection fan and screws
located above the element.
(See Figure 4-27)
3. Pull fan assembly and element into oven cavity. Tilt
the assembly downward to allow the terminals of
elements to pass through the holes in the oven cav-
ity wall.
