6.5.10. Param EQ

A Parametric Equalizer lets you sculpt tone very precisely, as opposed to the very broad
tonal strokes you get from a synth filter or tone controls. It can be used to gently or
surgically boost or cut certain frequencies to alter the overall sound or remove problem
frequencies.
The EQ in Acid V has five bands, and you can adjust the frequency, gain (boost or cut), and
Q (how wide the band is around the selected frequency) for each one. In fact, that ability to
tweak the frequency and bandwidth is just what "parametric" means!

Adjusts the overall impact of the EQ curve on your sound
Frequency
Selects the center frequency of the current band

Gain (V)
Adjusts the boost or cut to the level of the current band
Q
Adjusts the width of the spectrum around the Frequency that is affected by the boost or cut
