Line Keys and Programmable Keys
Line Key
You can set a programmable key to act as a line/call appearance key on the 6730i. The key acts as a line that behaves the
same as a hard line key (L1 and L2). For more information about the behavior of line keys, see
Appearance Keys"
on
page 41.
You use the Aastra Web UI to set a Line key.
Configuring a Line Key

Note:
Keys 5 and 6 (SAVE and DELETE keys) can be made configurable ONLY by your System Administrator.
Use the following procedure to set a Line key on your phone.
1.
Click on Operation->Programmable Keys.
2.
Select from "Key 1" through "Key 8". (Keys 5 and 6 can be made configurable only by your System Administrator.)
3.
In the "Type" field, select Line to apply to the key.
4.
In the "Line" field, select a line for which to apply this key. Valid values are 3 through 6.
5.
Click Save Settings.
