A smartphone or tablet is not included in the scope of delivery. Alternatively, the built-in jog dial module can be exchanged for the cardiostrong iCardio LCD console for BX60 Smart. Further information on replacing the module can be found in these installation and operating instructions.

Set-Up Place WARNING ⚠ Do not place the equipment in main corridors or escape routes. ⚠ CAUTION Choose a location in which to place the equipment such that there is enough free space/ clearance to the front, the rear and to the sides of the equipment. The training room should be well ventilated during training and not be exposed to any draughts.
ASSEMBLY General Instructions ⚠ DANGER Do not leave any tools, packaging materials such as foils or small parts lying around, as otherwise there is a danger of suffocation for children. Keep children away from the equipment during assembly. ⚠ WARNING Pay attention to the instructions attached to the equipment in order to reduce the risk of injuries.
Assembly Before assembly, take a close look at the individual assembly steps shown and carry out the assembly in the order given. NOTICE First loosely screw all parts together and check that they fit properly. Tighten the screws using the tool only when you are instructed to do so. Step 2: Assembly of the Front Stabilizer Attach the front stabilizer (B) to the main frame (A) with two screws (J1), two spring washers (J2) and two washers (J3). NOTICE If the machine is wobbly, you can adjust the end caps to stabilize the machine.

Step 3: Assembly of the Central Tube NOTICE The central tube can be mounted at a standard or low setting according to height and personal preference. The main frame and the central tube are equipped with guiding labels for standard and low position.

Step 5: Assembly of the Handle Bar Remove the preassembled screw (J10) from the central tube (D). Slide the handle bar (E) onto the central tube (D). Fasten the handle bar (E) to the central tube (D) with one knob (E2). Reattach the previously removed screw (J10) to the central tube (D).

Step 6: Connecting the Cables Carefully pass the cable (D1) through the hole. Connect the plug (D3) to the hole of the handle bar (E). Step 7: Assembly of the Console Remove the preassembled screws (G1) on the back of the console (G). Connect the cables D1 and E1 with their respective components of the console (G).

Step 8: Assembly of the Seat Position the seat (H) onto the seat basement (H4) and tighten it with the tool.

Step 9: Assembly of the Pedals NOTICE The pedals and pedal straps are marked as left and right. Attach the right pedal (K2) to the right crank arm on the main frame (A) by turning the pedal (K2) clockwise. Attach the left pedal (K1) to the left crank arm on the main frame (A) by turning the pedal (K1) counterclockwise.

Step 10: Connecting the Equipment to the Mains Supply ࣑ ATTENTION The equipment must not be connected to a multiple socket, otherwise it cannot be guaranteed that the equipment will be supplied with sufficient power. Technical errors can result. Plug the power plug into a wall outlet that complies with the instructions in the chapter on electrical safety.

Adjustment of the Seat To adjust the seat (H) vertically, lift the wrench (F1) and adjust the seat (H) to the desired height. To adjust the seat (H) horizontally, loosen the knob (F2) and slide the seat (H) into the desired position.

Initial Connection with iCardio NOTE The following app is programmed and provided by external manufacturers. Changes and availability within the app might occur. Sport-Tiedje does not take any responsibility and can not be held liable for the availability, functionality or contents of this app. This device is intended to be used in combination with the iCardio app.

OPTIONAL ICARDIO LCD CONSOLE An optional iCardio LCD console is available for this specific equipment and can be purchased separately in the Sport-Tiedje webshop. The LCD console is exchangeable and can be swapped with the built-in jog dial module. The LCD console offers its own variety of programmes and training data. NOTICE The exchange of the module does not affect the compatibility with the iCardio app.

Turning on and Setting up the Equipment To turn on the equipment, connect the power cable to the equipment or press and hold the RESET button for two seconds. The console is powered on and displays all segments for 2 seconds. The wheel diameter and KM or ML is displayed for 1 second and resistance shows LOAD = 1.
4.5.1 Manual Programme Mode (MANUAL) There are two ways to enter the manual mode: Without settings To select quick-start and start training immediately, press START/STOP. You automatically enter the manual programme. The resistance level can be adjusted during the workout. To pause the workout, press START/STOP.
4.5.2 Pre-set Programme Mode (PROGRAM) To select PROGRAM mode, use the UP/DOWN buttons and confirm with MODE. To select one of the twelve pre-set programmes (P01 - P12), use the UP/DOWN buttons and confirm your selection with MODE. The selected programme flashes in the display. 4.5.3 User-Defined Programme Mode (USER) The user-defined programme allows you to create your own profile programme by individually setting the resistance level for up to 10 segments. Each user profile can set one user-defined programme. To select the USER mode, use the UP/DOWN buttons and confirm with MODE. Various factors can affect the accuracy of the heart rate measurement. The heart rate measurement serves only as a training aid. The console has an integrated heart-rate receiver.
4.5.5 Watt Controlled Programme Mode (WATT) To select the WATT mode, use the UP/DOWN buttons and confirm with MODE. The preset wattage 120 flashes in the display. To set the desired wattage between 10 and 350 watts, use the UP/DOWN buttons and confirm with MODE.

RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES To make your training experience even more efficient and pleasant, we recommend that you add suiting accessories to your fitness equipment. This could be a floor mat, for example, which makes your fitness equipment stand more securely and also protects the floor from falling sweat, but it could also be additional handrails on some treadmills or silicone spray to keep moving parts in good shape.
