be there. The LED is also unlit immediately after a
power failure, while a CacheAssure backup is being
performed.
Solid amber: The LED is solid amber if a problem has
occurred with the CacheAssure module. Problems can
include detecting a module but not a supercap (or vice
versa) or extended post failure.
Fast blinking amber: The LED blinks amber quickly
when in Cache recovery.
Slow blinking green: The LED blinks slowly as green
during bootup when the supercap is charging. Slowly
blinking green also indicates that POST has
completed without errors and both modules are
present and presumed working (checked again after a
few minutes). During this time period when the LED is
slowly blinking, there is no guarantee that the
supercap has enough power to perform CacheAssure
backups.
Solid green: The LED is lit solid green when the
supercap has fully charged and the system is working
properly. At this point, if a power failure happens there
is enough power to perform CacheAssure backups.
Fast blinking green: The LED blinks green quickly
after a successful CacheAssure backup, caused by a
power fail condition.
