Functioning

Turn to maximum speed when there is a lot of steam in the kitchen. We would advise you to turn the
suction on 5 minutes before starting to cook and leave it running after you have finished cooking for about
another 15 minutes.
Calibration of the control panel
When you connect the hood to the electrical supply, or after a black out, the Hood control system
calibrates the buttons.
You will see two flashing dots during the calibration.
Calibration lasts for 15 seconds
When the calibration is complete, the two dots stop flashing and only the bottom right hand dot stays on.
1. The ON button (Stand by)/OFF suction/Reset means the filters are finished:
- ON (Stand by) – the display only shows one dot on.
- OFF – the display is completely off: all the controls are off except the light button.
To turn the hood to ON (stand by) or OFF, press the button and wait for the dot to appear or
disappear.
A Reset indication shows that the filter needs to be changed.
Press this button for more than 3 seconds. The hood will only reset the filter indicator when the hood
is on.
2. ON/OFF light button.
3. Button for reducing extraction power (P-intensive, 3, 2, 1).
4. Button for increasing extraction power (1, 2, 3, P-intensive).
Warning!
The intense extraction power is indicated on the display with the letter P on the left and remaining
minutes (and the flashing dot) on the right; it turns itself off after 5 minutes and automatically sets the
suction power at 2.
5. ON/OFF timing button: after selecting the
extraction power desired, press this button to time it:
Extraction power 1: 20 minutes
Extraction power 2: 15 minutes
Extraction power 3: 10 minutes
The display shows the remaining time and the flashing dot
on the right.
The hood will go into stand by when the remaining time
runs out.
