    1. BEDOELD GEBRUIK Uw GLUCOFIX TECH GK meter en de teststrips GLUCOFIX TECH Sensor en ® ® GLUCOFIX TECH β-Ketone Sensor zijn medische hulpmiddelen voor in- ® vitrodiagnostiek die dienen voor de kwantitatieve meting van glucose in vers capillair volbloed uit de vingertop, handpalm of onderarm en β-ketonen in vers capillair volbloed uit de vingertop.

    3. VOORDAT U GAAT TESTEN 3.1 Waarschuwing voor het gebruik van de meter De datum en tijd zijn vooraf in de meter ingesteld. Controleer voor het eerste gebruik of de datum en tijd correct zijn, en corrigeer de instellingen eventueel. Controleer altijd de instellingen nadat u de batterij hebt vervangen (§8.3).

    ● De meter voldoet aan de van toepassing zijnde vereisten voor elektro- magnetische compatibiliteit (EMC). U dient de meter echter niet te ge- bruiken bij mobile devices of elektrische of elektronische apparaten die een elektromagnetische stralingsbron vormen, aangezien hierdoor de correcte werking van de meter kan worden beïnvloed.

    LET OP ● De prikplaats met water en zeep wassen en goed afdrogen alvorens een bloeddruppel af te nemen. ● Deel dezelfde lancet of prikpen niet met anderen om het risico van infecties te voorkomen. ● Gebruik altijd een nieuwe lancet. Lancetten zijn voor eenmalig gebruik. Gebruik een reeds gebruikte lancet niet opnieuw.

    4.2 Testen van uw bloedglucose 1. Schuif een nieuwe GLUCOFIX TECH Sensor (witte) teststrip in de test- ® stripopening. Het druppelsymbool begint te knipperen op het display en het glucosesymbool “Glu” verschijnt in de linker onderhoek van het display. Indien er niets op het display verschijnt, verwijder de teststrip dan, schuif hem opnieuw in de opening en wacht tot het druppelsymbool gaat knippe- ren.

    ● Indien de testresultaten niet overeenkomen met hoe u zich voelt: Controleer of u de test correct hebt uitgevoerd zoals uitgelegd in §4.2. Voer vervolgens een glucosecontroletest uit om na te gaan of het systeem goed werkt (§4.3). Herhaal de test met een bloeddruppel uit een vingertop (gebruik geen alternatieve prikplaats).

    LET OP ● Als u nog steeds testresultaten krijgt die buiten het acceptabele bereik vallen, dient u het systeem niet langer te gebruiken en contact op te nemen met de klantenservice van A.     3. Lees uw testresultaat af. U hoort een pieptoon wanneer het testresultaat op het display verschijnt samen met het β-ketonensymbool “Ket”. Het testre- sultaat knippert tot de meter uitschakelt. LET OP ● Als “HI” op het display verschijnt: “HI” verschijnt als uw testresultaat hoger is dan 8,0 mmol/L. Controleer de β-ketonenwaarde in uw bloed onmiddellijk weer met een nieuwe teststrip.

Om de CTL-modus in te schakelen, twee seconden lang gelijktijdig op de pijltoet- sen (▲/▼) drukken terwijl het druppelsymbool op het display knippert.

    6. BEHEER VAN UW TESTRESULTATEN WAARSCHUWING Controleer voor het eerste gebruik of de datum en tijd correct zijn en corrigeer de instellingen eventueel (§7.1). Indien de datum- en tijdinstellingen niet correct zijn slaat de meter de testresultaten met de verkeerde datum en tijd op. 6.1 Vroegere glucoseresultaten teruglezen U kunt in het geheugen opgeslagen resultaten teruglezen.

    7.1 Instellen van datum/tijd Gebruik ▲ of ▼ om de juiste waarde te selecteren. Druk op om te bevestigen en naar de volgende stap te gaan: jaar, maand, dag, tijdformaat (12H, 24H), uur, minuten. Na bevestiging van de minuten (door op te drukken) teruggaan naar de instelmenu’s (stap 3 §7).

    AANWIJZINGEN ● Voor de wekker wordt hetzelfde formaat gebruikt (12H, 24H) als voor de tijd is ingesteld. ● Wekkerinstellingen worden niet gewist bij vervanging van de batterijen. 7.3 Instellen van de pieptoon De pieptoon is standaard ingeschakeld (ON) op uw GLUCOFIX TECH GK meter.

    AANWIJZING ● De minimaal instelbare waarschuwingsdrempel voor een β-ketonentest is +0,1 mmol/L. Dit geldt ook als de “hyper”-waarschuwing op OFF staat. In dat geval wordt een referentiewaarde van 10 mmol/L aangehouden. 7.6 NFC-instelling De NFC functie op uw GLUCOFIX TECH GK meter is standaard uitgeschakeld ®...

    WAARSCHUWING ● Zorg dat er geen water in de meter komt. De meter nooit onderdompelen of onder de kraan houden. ● Gebruik geen glasreiniger of huishoudelijke schoonmaakmiddelen. ● Probeer de teststriphouder niet te reinigen. 8.3 Vervangen van de batterijen Wanneer het symbool batterij laag op het display verschijnt, zijn de batterijen bijna leeg.

    LET OP ● Oneigenlijk gebruik kan explosies of lekkage van ontvlambare vloeistoffen veroorzaken. ● Stel de batterij niet bloot aan extreem hoge temperaturen. ● Stel de batterij niet bloot aan een extreem lage luchtdruk. 9. PROBLEEMOPLOSSING 9.1 HI- en LO-meldingen Indien het glucosetestresultaat boven de 33,3 mmol/L ligt, verschijnt de aanduiding HI op het display.

    De strip werd verwijderd of gehinderd tijdens het aftellen. Herhaal de test met een nieuwe teststrip. Batterij laag. Vervang de batterijen volgens de instructies (§8.3). De temperatuur lag niet binnen het aanbevolen bereik. Herhaal de meting na ten minste 30 minuten, wanneer de juiste temperatuur is bereikt.

Past results remain in the memory even when the batteries are changed. Your meter uses two CR2032 3V lithium batteries. This type of battery is available in many stores.
