Practical stitches

6.2 Sewing straight stitch

Match the stitch length with the sewing project, such as for denim fabrics use long stitches (ca. 3 –
 4 mm), for delicate fabrics use short stitches (ca. 2 – 2.5 mm). Match the stitch length with the thread
size, e. g. when edgestitching with Cordonnet, use long stitches (ca. 3 – 5 mm).
Prerequisite:
> Tap «Practical Stitches».
> Select Straight stitch No. 1.
